Preventive Maintenance

Investments in maintenance save time and money. We offer you special maintenance agreements – adjusted to the requirements of the different seasons as winter and summer check.

A further advantage: As DEKRA-outlet we offer daily general inspections, brake tests and special inspections.

Maintenance for the BMS WORKER N°1 SIGMA

Weekly maintenance duties,
in addition to daily maintenance work


- Grease the lever bearing of the mixing vessel cover each week. Thoroughly clean
  the lubrication points. Grease until the grease is visible on the surface.

- Grease all points of lubrication on machines which have hydraulic feeders. feeders. Thoroughly clean the lubrication points. points. Grease until the grease is visible on the surface.

- Inspect the brakes and the ramp mechanism

- Inspect the power transmission belts and the fan belts; replace if necessary

- Check the mixer and the wear parts; replace if necessary

- Check the non-return valves and splash guards; replace if necessary


1st inspection (after 50 hours of operation),
in addition to weekly maintenance work


- Replace engine oil filters

- Replace engine oil

- Replace oil filters

- Replace compressor and hydraulic fluid

- Replace fuel filter

- Check battery (terminals, acid levels)

- Check fuel, oil and air system for leaks and replace if necessary

- Replace copper ring and valve cap seals

- Check revolutions per minute (highest and lowest revolutions per minute)

- Check all screws and tighten if necessary


6-monthly maintenance duties (every 500 hours of operation)
in addition to the 1st inspection


- Replace wear plates and mixer in the tank

- Clean the oil cooler

- Clean the fuel container filter

- Replace the seal on the oil strainer

- Measure the pressure drop in the oil separator element, replace if necessary

- Check the chassis for defects (all maintenance work on the entire chassis
  service centre, using genuine components.)


Annual maintenance duties (every 1000 hours of operation)
in addition to the 6-monthly maintenance duties


- Inspect the mixer and oil strainer for defects

- Replace the oil removal filters for oil strainers (incl. seals)

- Test the compressor safety valve

- Change the transmission oil

- Adjust the engine inlet and outlet valves

- Replace the cogged V-belt in the dynamo

- Replace the toothed belt for controlling the valves

 

Maintenance for the BMS WORKER N°1

Daily inspection and maintenance duties


- The machine is to be inspected for visual defects before start-up.

- Check that the rotary drilling hoses and hose couplings are in sound condition.

- Inspect the engine oil level of the drive motor.

- Inspect the oil level of the screw compressor on the oil separator level indicator.
  The oil level must always be in the green area.

- Grease the mixing tube seal and mounting of the running machine twice.
  Thoroughly clean the lubrication points. Grease until the grease is visible on
  the surface. (Greasing the mixing tube seal is not necessary in automatic
  central lubrication systems)

- Grease the lever for the cover vent once a day.
  Thoroughly clean the lubrication points. Grease until the grease is visible on
  the surface.

- Grease the cover vent once a day.
  Thoroughly clean the lubrication points. Grease until the grease is visible on
  the surface.

- Grease the safety system on the mixing vessel once a day.
  Thoroughly clean the lubrication points. Grease until the grease is visible on
  the surface.
